A huge thank you to the tireless organizers and all those who attended the Michigan Black Summit yesterday!

The President of the United States is openly threatening to 'nationalize' elections, and it's no mistake he intentionally targeted Detroit.

In Michigan, we've led the nation in expanding access to and securing our right to vote. And we won't stop now.

We have to build a new Democratic Party, build a new American Dream, and build a new country after this administration.

First, we have to acknowledge how we got here: and that our institutions have failed far too many people for far too long.

Rev. Antoine Colvin’s congregation and community are lucky to have such a compassionate and dedicated leader.

Michiganders joined protesters in all 50 states this weekend to say one thing: ICE Out

The cold didn’t stop hundreds from showing up in Grand Rapids to say it loud:

ICE out of our communities. Now.

200+ showed up in Grand Rapids today to welcome Senate Leader Winnie Brinks to Team McMorrow.

Let’s win this thing.

There weren’t many people who thought we could beat a Republican incumbent who had just won by +16 when I first ran for State Senate in 2018.

Troy Dems did.

We organized, we rallied, and we came together.

And we won.

This year? We’re going to do it again.

Former State Senator and past chair of the International Joint Commission Lana Pollack knows Michigan needs leaders who don’t back down from hard fights and aren’t afraid to dive into the hard work of governing.

It’s a better “baby bonus,” evidence-based and research-backed – created here in Michigan, proven here in Michigan.

Another person was killed by ICE in Minneapolis, after state leaders told them to leave, local officials told them to leave, and local law enforcement told them to leave.

But Trump’s ICE continues on its collision course making our communities LESS safe - not more.

In this moment, the status quo won’t cut it.

We need leaders who recognize the gravity of this moment, who tell it like it is, make clear who and what we’re fighting for, and have the track record of getting it done.
