Resource management is an issue. The finite limits of the earth is the other.

If you understand what we're doing not only to the air, soil, atmosphere, biosphere and species extinction rates but also to the coral reefs, forests, land-use, you might agree that our

opportunities for women in both education and careers. The more education & career options women have, the fewer children they tend to want. This can greatly help stabilize population growth and help reverse some of the damage we've already caused to our planet.

Our consumption habits will only get worse as populations in countries that do not have advanced economies are going to want everything we in the west have. There are too many humans, and the answer isn't to continue with the racism, inequality and violence, but to ensure equal rights and

exacerbating economic, political and social problems. There are finite resources, finite space on earth and there's other species that need to thrive here. With over 8 billion human beings, we're putting stresses on our planet and increasing competition for resources, food, energy & living space.
