'Many' alleged gang members deported by Trump didn't have criminal records in the US: ICE Many of the noncitizens deported pursuant to the Alien Enemies Act did not have criminal records, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement official said in a sworn filing.

#ProudBlue

So, ICE admits they deported people with NO criminal history under the 1798 Aliens Enemies Act, which was illegal declared by Trump.

If this doesn’t scare you, then you aren’t paying attention & are willfully ignorant.

This vote was to start the process of the cuts. It WILL come back for a final vote.

There are some chances to slow or potentially stop it. Need constant pressure on GOP

Focus on GOP swing seats & key committees. Energy & Commerce is where the Medicaid fight will go down. Ways&Means for tax fight.

Not a bad idea -- if House Republicans refuse to hold town halls in their congressional districts, local Democrats should set one of their own up.

Lifted by Musk’s Millions, G.O.P. Has Money Edge in Key Wisconsin Race In 2023, Democratic money helped elect a liberal to the state Supreme Court, swinging it to the left. Now, Elon Musk and other wealthy donors have given Republicans a chance to swing it back.

We can’t match Elon Musk’s millions in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

But we can all help stop a MAGA takeover of the highest court in this battleground state. No matter where you live, you can take action to elect Susan Crawford on April 1: indivisible.org/scowis2025

Markey, Wyden Lead Colleagues in Demanding Funding to Fully Implement Social Security Fairness Act | U.S. Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts Letter Text (PDF) Washington (February 26, 2025) - Senators Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Ron Wyden...

I was proud to fight alongside public service workers and retirees to win the Social Security Fairness Act. Now, I’m urging the Senate Appropriations Committee to ensure that years of underfunding, uncertainty, and freezes at the Social Security Administration do not delay this hard-fought victory.

Looks like tomorrow will bring votes on a Republican plan to fund tax cuts for the rich by slashing Medicaid.

So this is a great time to contact your Member of Congress.

What did Musk accomplish last week? He and Doge fired 350 workers at DOE without realizing they worked on nuclear security and then had to rehire them. Embarrassing and terrifying. By his own metric Musk should be fired.

The Massachusetts Constitution doesn’t allow government officials to put up displays that are clearly and primarily religious in nature.

We sent a letter to Quincy officials expressing legal concerns over the plan to put statues of saints in front of the City’s public safety building.

Lost in some of the outrage over this is that Trump's pick is LITERALLY unqualified. The law says a Chairman has to have been a vice chair, a service chief or held a combatant command. Caine hasn't done any of those and I don't think he was even the senior service general at a combatant command.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Trump Claims Power to Fire Administrative Law Judges at Will The Justice Department said a law protecting the officials from arbitrary removal is an unconstitutional intrusion on presidential authority.

The Trump administration told Congress on Thursday that it believed President Trump had the constitutional power to summarily fire administrative law judges at will, despite a statute that protects such officials from being removed without a cause like misconduct.
