I'm already seeing centrists and leftists sniping at each other but the blame for this is 100% on the Republicans. This is what they do with power and it is imperative that we work together to keep them as far from it as possible, forever.

And I am <in favor> of air quality regs, fwiw! however I'm not in favor of the regs that don't let you put power outlets on kitchen islands or require a 60 foot setback or minimum parking reqs or idiotic facade/frontage requirements

Not dunking here, but we gotta be better about Abundance criticism. If the tradeoff is San Fransisco level homelessness or (generally good) regs then we may have to accept that the regs must go.

That one in particular I'm not a fan of. Health regs definitely have a purpose. Especially when if you dont implement them early you end up with the quagmire that is lead abatement! But regs like setbacks and zoning and other random ones dont make things better and do make things cost more 🤷‍♂️
