"Yellow Brain" (Tremella mesenterica)
a parasitic jelly fungus that feeds on fungi that feed on dead wood. Either that or it's lookalike Golden Ear (Tremella aurantia) which is also parasitic so I am reading. Can't see any evidence of what it is feeding on.
Spent way too much time staring at this log that lichen, moss and fungi have made home.

Orange/reddish slime mold clustered at the bottom of a tree in the woodland surrounding Brookwood Cemetery, Woking, Surrey
Found these at the bottom of a tree. Initially thought they were insect eggs but on closer inspection they're slime molds (possibly Leocarpus fragilis) but don't quote me on that.
