She is fearful for her future. She went to UT to be a Biologist to help with conservation and was planning on going on to a Master’s program. Her future depends on federal funding. I am a Special Education Teacher. The future of that is uncertain as well, especially since I live in Texas (for now).

My oldest daughter informed me that two of her former coworkers were terminated due to cutting funding (National Forest Service). They work on conservation efforts for endangered species amongst other vital jobs. My daughter now works for the county (she was seasonal for the Forest Svc).

Because of DOGE, countless Americans are going to die.
