He’s no idea. But his other two A levels are chemistry and physics, both of which suggest it’s a good idea to take maths too. He’s stupidly bright but crap at exams!

A level maths teacher said you only do maths if you love it or need it, and he’s firmly in the second camp.

By the end of today he may be reconsidering his decision to do maths A level.
