The Signal Betrayal: A National Security Breach That Demands Accountability My comments on Laura Coats Live

Top White House officials used disappearing messages on Signal for top-secret national security discussions—violating federal law & risking our security. Even worse? A participant was in Moscow.

Congress must investigate. This betrayal cannot stand .

Very fun to explain the signal scandal to my 13 year old who truly understands the catastrophe of adding the wrong person to the group chat and absolutely fell out when I showed her the Mike Waltz emojis.

In case you’ve forgotten how we used to treat this sort of thing…

There would be bipartisan calls for investigations

Impeachment would be a foregone conclusion

Several people would’ve resigned or been fired by end of day

Back when responsible adults were in charge, not this insane clown posse

Jeffrey Goldberg and Pete Hegseth. One takes DOD protocols seriously:

Goldberg:

—Did not disclose sensitive information; and
—Left the chat when clear he was on chain (errantly) w/classified plans

We’ve asked Pee Wee amateurs to play in big leagues. Expect (a lot) more unforced errors.

The only thing standing between Donald Trump and his authoritarian dream is the courts. But to defeat him, we need lawyers willing to litigate against him. Trump is trying to intimidate lawyers and law firms to stop fighting.

At least for me, it won't work. I wear his scorn like a badge of honor.

Social Security official ended program for Maine newborns because he was ‘ticked’ at Mills U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree said the rationale given by Lee Dudek, the acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration, is 'infuriating and absurd.'

This isn't how gov't is supposed to work: The acting commissioner of Social Security admitted “I was ticked at the governor of Maine for not being real cordial to the president,” so I ended a program in Maine. www.pressherald.com/2025/03/25/s...

How many classified attack plans have been compromised w/adversaries, vs. US journalists?

It's a thousand times worse than you think Their little group chat is the tip of a truly historic intelligence breach

There is a 7-hour time difference between DC and Moscow. He was invited at 11:44 AM on Thursday DC time. That was 6:44 PM in Moscow. He saw Putin at 8:00 PM according to Sky News and Russians. He left Moscow at 2:00 AM. He may have actually been sitting in the Kremlin even when he joined. (2/2)

1. Tulsi Gabbard was overseas while participating in the Signal chat.
2. Steven Witkoff was in Russia when he was added to the Signal chat.
3. Russia infiltrated Signal some time ago to use it against Ukrainians.

It’s high time to Benghazi the shit out of Trump’s administration.

“I am failing at the core functions of my position” would not be the defense at any business or other private organization, nor in any previous U.S. government.

Congress doesn’t have to accept it. Doing so is a choice.

WOW: @miamiherald.com reveals that a person imprisoned in El Salvador had LEGAL REFUGEE STATUS.

He entered the USA legally in January and was detained because of his tattoos, EVEN THOUGH he had previously passed a full background check.

Without warning, he was sent to El Salvador on March 15.

Hegseth, Waltz and company texting war plans to a reporter on signal is just the tip of the iceberg. This whole administration is full of incompetent, inexperienced, and unqualified clowns. Our national security is compromised in ways we’re just beginning to understand.

Trump signs executive order against law firm Jenner & Block President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday that takes action against the law firm Jenner & Block, for what a White House official described as the company's actions to weaponize the government and legal system.

Yet another absurdly vindictive and ridiculous Trump Executive Order, this time targeting the law firm of Jenner & Block.
