Has anyone on here had a complete change of career? At 52, and 20+ years NHS service, I'm desperate for a change! Money's not everything but I do need an income. I've had a sewing machine lesson - not used one since school - enjoyed it and now considering my options. A change is as good as a rest..π

If only I had been allowed to do History & Geography GCSE - a couple of subjects I enjoyed at school - my career path would have been different and probably more satisfying, less stressful and definitely more interesting!

Toxic management, same organisation for many years, nothing changes and sick to death of it. As I am not management, they're not interested in improving anything for me despite what I have been put through and highlighted. I love helping others but think I've just about had enough now π

Started my phased return to work last Thurs & Fri mornings before a full day on Monday - just as well I work from home as I managed to bugger up my back again at the weekend! My body is definitely going to medical science when I've gone, I've got many interesting things going on with it! π

Happy New Year to everyone! First day back at work tomorrow - following covid which I had mid-October! I'm not scared of catching things, I'm just reliant on people using common sense & logic - if there is any left in the world. Looking forward to a few changes in the coming year - for the better

After getting covid mid-October, on top of everything else I have wrong with me, I am just about recovered enough for a return to work in the New Year - before I do any more 'boredom shopping'! π
