I think the more accurate way to put it is “This is not who we want to be.” We can’t move forward without acknowledging what needs to be changed. That’s true. But we can do that while saying we want to be better than what we are right now. That’s a powerful statement of integrity and intent.

Ironically, eggs are much cheaper now than they were right around the election, because supply is up. That can always fluctuate. But yes, they bought us much bigger issues because they don’t understand how things actually work.

They also bought propaganda about egg prices and thought presidents could somehow control that, which they can’t, because they don’t understand supply, demand, and bird flu.

Honestly, I might just do it any time I see “leftists” trotted out in any holier-than-thou context at all, because it’s always the circular firing squad on some level, deep down.

Do you know how many elections there are in Oklahoma? Because it's more than just one. A LOT more, and they ALL count. People who assume there's only one election that counts in any given state are too clueless to discuss electoral politics in any serious way.
