This revelation came about because I was explaining the meaning of the title Advent Children.

Just completed my 20th anniversary playthrough of Dirge of Cerberus. People need to stop letting others tell them how to think and give this game another chance. The scenario is actually really intricate and the combat / level design is good fun in a way we don't see anymore.

Been feel this way for a while. I also feel like with moderns soundtracks, we hardly have any time to build memories with a track because it's only used in one location or boss fight. Not enough time to get etched onto my soul.

I need Final Fantasy XIII to be remastered so that the revisionist history can begin.

It's so crazy that Australians take January 26th off every year to celebrate the Japanese release of Dirge of Cerberus.

Every time I see Dirge of Cerberus slander I listen to the game's soundtrack and think about how awesome it is.

Is this referring to the one at Yakushima? Because that was completely removed in Reload.

Yes a completely out of the way trip to a newly added location with a final boss that is never spoken about again connects so effortlessly to Final Fantasy VII.

Whoever named it a "trade bazooka" clearly never thought it'd actually be used.

Persona 3 Reload showed me that faithful remakes are actually pretty cool. Only time I cried during the ending.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 showed me that old-school JRPG game design hasn't aged a day. The sense of discovery is real.

Neither of these the FFVII remake series leans into and it sucks.

Every time I reconnect with my other interests I come back to Persona and am reminded how miserable the fandom is.

If I were to speedrun games the ones I'd try would be Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance and FFVII Dirge of Cerberus.

I love you Persona 3 Reload but I'm sorry you're a terrible speedrun game.

I need Shin Megami Tensei VI to lean into its occult roots and deliver something truly unnerving.
