I was just thinking. Tabletop hobby people - gamers, painters, writers, creators, whether of wargames, RPGs or board games; we need a call for #resistance, an #antifascist alliance within the tabletop hobby. Who would join that?

The last few weeks I have been doing a thing, and I am really proud to present the published version of IDENT, and interesectonal interactive poem about becoming.

It may be grimdark, depressing, nihilistic and hopeless... but somewhere along the way, I hope that this machine kills fascism.

And I know, some might level criticism at the games I conjure and the stories I weave are not explicitly or on surface level life-affirming and positive tales of anti-fascism, I hope that they are vehicles for facing the darkness and as such they are antifascists.

and while play is a celebration of freedom and diversity, play can can also be cruel and oppressive.

That said - we should all strive to make our games be antifascist. I think I will meditate more on that in future designs.

This machine kills fascists. I recently read someone suggest that games and play were at their core antifascist. I wish it were so, but I don't think that games are inherently antifascist endeavours (war is after all a game)...
