"Red Umbrella" on the other hand is specifically Umbrella pre-2007, but Red or Blue it's the same company. There was also a secret underground Umbrella remnants organization led by Wesker from at least 2003-2006, but that may be Blue Umbrella's new management.

The Umbrella Corps is likely akin to the old USS/UBCS, part of the company. Since Blue Umbrella's legally prohibited from having armed forces though, the Umbrella Corps are covert & off-books. They're a "mysterious organization" in Heavenly Island & UC's promo material, while Blue's public-facing.

It should be noted there's no "Red Umbrella", that's the nickname for the old Umbrella. The red logo you see in Umbrella Corps is for the Umbrella Corps. That's even just what it's called. It's just Blue Umbrella + a secret unit.

Thanks to an amazing joint effort by our community, we successfully won an auction for the original BIOHAZARD 2 Final Draft scriptbook. It'll receive the same dissecting we gave the Dino Crisis 2 script. Among many differences here, Claire was 20 & Leon was 25.

We've translated BIO-relevant parts of the book "CAPCOM Wild Game Boys" from 2000, which has interviews with developers like Mikami, Kamiya, Takeuchi, Aoyama, Kato, Sugimura, Ueda & Utsumi. A trove of personal & production info.

We attempted to acquire the "final draft" scriptbook of BIOHAZARD 0's scenario, written by Noboru Sugimura & FLAGSHIP. Sadly it exceeded our max, so in future we'll consider community donations as well. We hope the winning bidder makes it available in some form!

I don't see it unless it's highlighted like that. I'd put it down to people being wired for pattern recognition even if there isn't one. Like seeing faces in wood etc.

Looking at the raw video, it doesn't really look like anything, let alone a 6. I think this may be a case of expectations coloring impressions.

For REV1, it doesn't really tie into anything else. The scene just serves to show Jessica and Raymond were working together, and we learn elsewhere they work for TRICELL. If anything it just leads toward 5, like the endings of Degeneration & Infinite Darkness.

The illustration below shows the screen on the left, changed from objective to subjective. The game has a completely different feel to it. If it had been made this way, maybe it wouldn't have been a hit...!?

This artwork's often presented as "first-person concept art" for the original BIO HAZARD due to years of repeated poor sourcing. It's only a Famitsu artist's impression of what it would've looked like for Weekly Famitsu No.460's BIO feature, not CAPCOM art.

Thanks to irresponsible "journalism" by IGN many years ago and Wikipedia's insistence on it as gospel, we may need daily reminders that CODE:Veronica was never BIO3 at any time.

We were recently fortunate enough to find & obtain an original full recording script for the series' first drama album, "BIO HAZARD The Tragedy of Machova Village". It still includes notes from the recording process. We'll be fully translating it.
