Israel gives us daily reminders that ethnically cleansing Palestinians isn't limited to Gaza and the West Bank. It's also ongoing within the recognized borders of Israel.

Over 300 Palestinian-Bedouin face forced evictions following mass home demolitions in Negev/Naqab The Israeli authorities’ demolition on 8 May 2024 of 47 homes in Wadi al-Khalil, an unrecognized Palestinian/Bedouin village in the Negev/Naqab, without proper consultation or compensation underscores the urgency to dismantle Israel’s apartheid system, said Amnesty International today. The demolition orders against the Abu Assa neighbourhood in Wadi al-Khalil were issued by Israeli planning authorities […]

Liberal Zionist myth #728: Israeli settlement and ethnic cleansing only happens in territories occupied after 1967 and does not happen within 1948 borders.

These settlers do not represent you, and yet every single Israeli government since 1948, whether right wing, centrist or left wing, has at best turned a blind eye to ethnic cleansing, at worst actively worked toward it--both inside and outside '48 borders

Screenshot of an article that says "Left-wing activists detained by Israeli forces after settlers attempted to vandalize West Bank village
A group of settlers attempted to dig up buried pipes and destroy Palestinian infrastructure in a small West Bank village on Wednesday.
When activists intervened to prevent the vandalism in the village of Ras al-Ein in the Jordan Valley, the settlers called police and the Israeli army.
Israeli forces responded by reportedly assaulting an Israeli-American activist and dragging him to the ground. Several other activists had their ID cards inspected and detained at the scene.
Eyewitnesses reported that settlers brought small children and even infants to observe the confrontations."

And I can share with that almost all of my relatives and childhood friends in Israel are *100% convinced* that Zionism is the side that values life, love, and peace

Trump has no values, principles, or ideology--other than love for himself. If it suits his mood, he'll put an end to the genocide and may even turn against Netanyahu. We can only hope.

Daniel Boyarin wrote in 2006:

"It has been said by many Christians that Christianity died in Auschwitz, Treblinka, and Sibubor. I fear--God forbid--that my Judaism may be dying in Nablus, Daheishe, Beteen, and al-Khalil".

If written in 2025, his Judaism would have died in Gaza.

If you do believe there is an ongoing genocide, as the overwhelming majority of humanitarians, researchers, and journalists believe, then taking tangible actions (like providing military escorts to humanitarian convoys to Gaza) is only logical

Can't overstate how much Israelis feel that they've been abandoned by the entire world and must fend for themselves.

(It's as if the thousand-pound bombs delivered through the war and US warships actively defending Israel simply... didn't exist)

After so much time spent in Israel Palestine and so many conversations about the conflict, I remain amazed at how many *secular* Israelis believe that Jews have an inherent right to this land because... we were here 2,000 years ago

Settlers just attacked the village of Al-Mughayir, in the northern West Bank. In the attack, one of the settlers shot and killed a 20-year-old Palestinian man, Saeed Murad Al-Nassan.

All the settlers were wearing white, in honor of the Jewish holiday.

I met a Jewish Israeli activist doing protective presence in Umm Al Khair. He lost *six* friends at the Nova Festival on October 7th.

Yet he's spending most of his wake time fighting apartheid and genocide in the West Bank, Gaza border, Jerusalem, Haifa.

Grief isn't a license to stay silence.

I don't know what's funnier: that the antisemitic US far-right thinks Israel is behind the Kirk murder, that Netanyahu is so desperately pandering to these antisemites, or that Netanyahu thinks this ridiculous video will help debunking the conspiracy theory

The military prosecutor accuses me of inciting the protesters to throw stones at the soldiers. This is not true. What incites protesters to throw stones is the sound of bullets, the Occupation’s bulldozers as they destroy the land, the smell of teargas and the smoke coming from burnt houses.

Land theft and tree-burning is unjust. Violent repression of our demonstrations and protests and your detention camps are not evidence of the illegality of our actions. It is unfair to be tryed under a law forced upon us. I know that I have rights and my actions are just.
