I was thinking earlier today, "What if men were forced to live the way women do for a month?" You know, get attacked as soon as you get out of your car, or feel unsafe because you're being followed, or get pawed by someone you didn't give consent to...you know, just another normal day for a woman.

I used to pick up hitchhikers. Whenever they'd say, "Wow, you're trusting," I'd fire back, "So are you." That scared 'em. I mean, seriously here, how do you know I don't have a death wish but am just looking for someone to take out with me so I'm not alone through the whole Thelma & Louise moment?

At one rally, he opened his speech by saying, "I don't care about you. I only care about your vote." Everyone cheered.

At another rally, he opened his speech by saying, "If you elect me, you'll never have to worry about voting again. We'll take care of all of that for you." Again, everyone cheered.

I'm pretttly sure most of the population is either on the spectrum, or has some level of ADHD, or both...which means we should stop marginalizing people we can label like this because when we do that we're simply telegraphing to the whole world that we're afraid of our own symptoms. So. Yeah.

Flooding in Beltar, a remote Tamang village in the valley, where we have a chicken coop program. My younger brother (the project manager) is stuck & can't get back to KTM, plus part of the mountain road has washed away....

I met a couple from Switzerland who were supposed to leave on Friday because they'd scheduled a trek. Monday's morning flight was their last chance to get to Pokhara for the trek and not lose their money. I have NO complaints about my own delay! 😁

So the article says these spiders were "carefully removed from their burroughs." My question is when will they ever be RETURNED to their burroughs? Humans are odd sometimes. We want to study other lifeforms but remove them from their natural habitat to do so. 🙄

I always annoy people that use the science argument with me simply by exclaiming, "Exactly! You've just proven my point that chromosomes don't determine what sex you qere supposed to be!" Yeah, they don't like that.

Our black cat wasn't grounded for one week before Halloween and one week after. Otherwise, she had playtime with the other kitties in the apartment complex, safe inside the fencing of the complex, a couple of hours a day.
