I've always wanted to be a strong person physically. Even when I was in the wrong gender, I still wanted muscle. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would achieve this with simple hormone replacement therapy. And I didn't think I was a man either. Life is wild.

I was treated with nothing but respect from the Cape Cod Hospital staff which is a sharp departure from literally any other time in my life that I have ever been in that fucking ER.

The positive part of the hospital is that every single person that saw me had to call me Malik because that's my preferred name on the medical record, and that was very gender affirming for me.

If I didn't have this little tablet I wouldn't be able to email my therapist to get support in the hospital. That's how I got out.

Still no phone service.

It took a lot of advocacy and involved my therapist who is a clinical director.

Made it out of the hospital in One piece.

Social worker saw me and psychiatric is incoming. I'm laughing my ass off because they clearly feel cornered because why did you randomly give me food I didn't ask for but thank you also lmao.

No, they didn't just give me a burger they gave me an entire meal. This is not happen at this hospital trust me. They are scared.
