the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

I needed Popka's lines without any background music. Since you can't turn the music off in Klonoa 2, I had to grab ripped voice clips and overlap with the video. Since there are 100+ clips of Popka yelling nonsense, I needed to transcribe the lines to simplify my search.

Which means for 2025? Monstrus Mundus is DONE! Okay! Not doing too bad here! I guess I wanna get the heavy goals that are mostly new writing out the way haha maybe I'll hop on to DeathCrigh next!

So for Monstrus Mundus, which is Chord's POV of Colchestrains, today I polished off the new intro, re-wrote "Irredeemable" (that's from a version even earlier than the one on AO3, back when I posted Google Doc links on Co-host!) and the new ending for Irredeemable too.

So I think my current objective for 2025 is to 'catch up' with Colchestrains and write all the new material necessary for the re-writes, so it's all just new stuff all the time. And in the case of any strand that has no old stories, just get through an intro at least! Thread of progress?
