To clarify my bed is on the floor for a number of reasons. So my meds + skin routine for skin issues + water + piercing care + tablet all just sit in a pile.

It’s nice to be able to sit down and do my art peacefully even if my mind’s cluttered.

All that to say I finally cleaned my room today for the first time in roughly two months.

It’s nice to be able to see the floor next to my bed and reclaimed my desk space. I have a tendency to throw all my daily tasks on the floor right by my bed in a massive pile.

I feel significantly better.

June and July were extremely difficult months for me. A lot of things went on in my personal life that spiked my anxiety to the point of having regular anxiety attacks.

After all that I crashed hard the last week or two into a depression.

When I decided to start a fantasy worldbuilding project I was faced with the challenge of learning to draw environments. As a character artist this was way out of my comfort zone. I still have a lot to learn, but just making them exist is half the battle! You can make it good later!

One of the hardest things to learn in art is how to render elements you don't like rendering as well as elements that you do.
It helps to remember that nobody will know which parts those are unless you tell them.
Also, to try and render something annoying like it's something you know.
