Was on the fence about upgrading my phone this year or next, but then they made a Pro in my favorite color… I may not be able to wait 🫠💸

All those fancy new camera phones and they didn’t even mention spatial photos or videos 😣

The default hover state on #AppleVisionPro is problematic — especially when it comes to images. Because directing your focus overexposes the content, a user is never able to see its correct color except when in their peripheral vision. It ruins a lot of carefully color-managed imagery out there.

It is awfully maddening to have to wait 24 hours for any launch day data from App Store Connect.

Building a space-themed app affords me the right to a literal rocket launch launch video, right?

It’s one of those just-for-fun kinds of apps with a little glimpse at the future. I’ve heard over and over, “I never knew my phone could do that!” It’s been fun showing people (some for the very first time!) how stunning AR is and is going to be.

Or you could add extra zing and send an animated, fully 3D hologlyph (that’s what I’m calling them) that breaks out of the tiny messages window and taunts them in their real space, as though it were glaring right next to them on their desk.

It’s kind of a category-defining app. I don’t say that to sound all puffed up and self-important, but because it’s a little hard to explain. Imagine an extra lame Dad joke just landed in the family thread. You could add a tiny static eye-rolling emoji and move on…
