i love 4:3. i wish more movies came out in 4:3, and i wish more content creators made their videos in 4:3. 16:9 is FINE, but imo cant compete with the viewing experience of 4:3, especially on a phone.

Yeah definitely. It's not actually made to compete with Newton at all (the name is just a dumb pun) as it lacks pretty much all the bells and whistles of Newton.

But for someone like me, that dont need all those features, and who doesn't have 250usd to spend, Notton can hopefully fill the gap.

well, its neither but also all. it's a standalone software which is paired with a scriptUI plugin for AE to import the data. i thought this was a pretty hacky workaround, before i realized that newton is actually doing the exact same thing lol.
