Yesterday, I showed my friend Duncan, and guessed late 40’s for a book before I went “mm but it also might be early 50’s, I’m not too sure”. The book was printed in 1949.
In conclusion, I still got it 😌

Interesting fact about me: a friend taught me how to date a book based on the smell of the decayed paper.
I hadn’t practiced in a while, but it’s a fun parlor trick, and I like to think I’m pretty accurate. I can’t get an exact year, but I can get the decade—
