I love to sit in our front yard and give out candy. My favorites are the teenagers. It’s so fun to talk to them and find out about their costumes. To see them enjoying the last moments of childhood is just the best.

Our son has a lot of sensitivity to noise. When he was younger, we were successful with the earmuffs found in the hunting section at the sporting goods store. Now that he’s older, he is using the Loop earplugs very successfully. Good luck!

Not quite the same thing, but when my college-age son shops with me, he collects several items from around the store and brings them back to wherever I am with the cart. He thinks this is the most efficient method. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So glad ICE is in Chicago. The city is a lawless hell-scape. Blues musicians wrecking hundreds of police cars. High schoolers doing weird scientific sex experiments. Kids home alone during the holidays. Women killing their husbands and lovers and then SINGING about it sassily. This has to stop.

My oldest is a theatre student and this is the best part about it. The collaboration between all the performers and technicians to make magic happen. It’s a joy to experience.
