The picture of the First Presbyterian Church of Chicago pastor being pepper sprayed by a masked ICE agent reminded me of civil rights protestors in Birmingham being sprayed with high-pressure water hoses in the 60s.

Our 4th graders have Immigration Day every year. They each pick a country, dress the part, make up a character. They go through "inspection" and have a parade after. It's one of the most beautiful things I've seen in my 45 years.
