“New phone, who ‘dis?” BLM, human rights, women’s rights, dem, AF veteran. Lapsed ceramic artist & painter. (I will never ask for money, don’t deal in EFT’s and don’t need a husband. If someone is being fishy, it’s not me).

#FoxNews lied for 4 years about the weaponization of the DOJ by Joe Biden & it was absolute bullshit.
It’s strange that they’ve never mentioned PEDO Trump’s 500 attempts to weaponize the DOJ.
Trump team to start “daily” meetings to focus on prosecuting his political adversaries.
Susie Wiles 🥱
Ironic that the "Weaponization Working Group" is doing exactly what it purports to fight against. Exactly!
Trump is abusing DOJ to go after his perceived enemies.

Twenty-five years into it, the war on terror has become a war against ourselves. That forever war must come to an end. Enough with the military gear. Enough with the mass surveillance. Enough with the constant fear of an ever-shifting Other. Democrats should not be afraid to make the case for this, or other, structural changes to D.H.S. and an immigration system in desperate need of comprehensive reform. Yes, Americans want a secure border. But most of us are also tired of war, wary of an intrusive militarized government, welcoming of immigrants, and protective of our core freedoms. Mr. Trump's administration should be the period that concludes the post-9/11 era.
P.S. The above article was linked by Ben Rhodes in his NYT column. Here’s his conclusion, which nails it. (I liked his reasoning but not necessarily his core reform: returning ICE functions to DOJ, when the problem is unlawful conduct & awful immigration law. But anyway his reasoning is sound.)

…”He no longer felt compelled to show up with other Proud Boys to fight left-wing protesters, because the federal government was doing the job itself.”
