The Electron really was doomed at that price. I think even the C64 got down below £200 in 1984.

Crash was the mag I bought every month without fail but I also loved C&VG and would buy a fair few of those as well.

US had the Atari 8-bits and the Commodore computers all through the 80s.

The end wasn't far away.
