Plenty of racing yards around Donegal where you could actually see for yourself how horses are treated. You’re welcome any time

They still are Rebekka. Of course there are rogues, but I’m in racing yard twice a day and the health/ mental wellbeing of the horses is priority. But they are not machines. They’re incredibly fragile and vulnerable for all their strength. It’s awful to see so many horses lost on the track.

I have a small fear that because the other place is so noxious, we’re all supposed to wear our Sunday best here, and know the correct position of cutlery in a table setting. I don’t want to go from an unruly pub to lunch with my in-laws. It would be nice to know we can be naughty too. 😃
