I like the new The Last Dinner Party album. I’m not sure it’s as strong as their debut but it may take more time grow on me.

The Tame Impala album isn’t as bad as I feared but it is mid unfortunately. Has some highlights but I find I zone o it & it fades into the background a lot.

Silly Samuel with his arms raised. Silly Samuel is a tall comical looking critter with a blue head and legs. He is rendered in 3D, instead of 2D like most of the other characters shown in the series. His nose is a bicycle horn and on his head is a cuckoo clock. His body is a yellow chunk of cheese with a crab claw attached on a spring for his right arm and a green gooey, stretchy toy hand for his left arm. Tied to his neck is a pink cape. He wears long striped kneesocks on his pipe cleaner like legs and has shoes that resemble gummy worms.

I can’t get over the design of Silly Samuel.

September has been an insane month for music.
I’m liking Shane’s album cutthroats a lot more than I expected to.
Maruja’s “Pain to Power” is a great debut.
Wednesday’s “Bleeds” is good. I feel like I’m still digesting it.
Then we’re getting killed this Friday.

I'm appalled but unfortunately unsurprised to hear that ICE is targeting my neighbors in Rogers Park today. Unidentifiable and unaccountable agents are roaming the streets with their faces covered targeting schools and community centers. It needs to end. Abolish ICE.

2025 has been a fantastic year for music
