Listening to Blue Moon by Ayaka and I noticed Spotify had the lyrics.
And, after nearly 260 days of learning Japanese 3-5 minutes a day, I can read some of the lyrics.
I'm actually crying right now. Something so out of reach for so long just suddenly feels understood. It's a lot.

I was supposed to take a big trip this year but funds didn't pan out.
Still gave myself a 4 day weekend and I have 0 regrets. Sometimes you just need to not have work sitting on your shoulder for a couple extra days, y'know?

That being said? I'm actually a little excited for Duet Night Abyss. I'll wait for reviews though.

I gave The First Descendant a good 20 hours and I think I can safely say, as someone who enjoys many a thing, that this game is lacking in a few too many areas to get the most joy out of it. It's not a bad game, honestly. But I feel more enjoyment elsewhere.

When you start seeing that playing video games is going beyond just your standard stress relief and cope.
This week holds a slightly different stress, but I'll make it through. Not because I have to, but because I know I'm good enough to be fine.

exciting news: I'll be joining Ghostcrawler, JoshStrifeHayes, and CohhCarnage in a live stream showing off the newest build of the in-development MMO Project Ghost this Thursday at11am PST/1pm CST!

Thought of the day: if giants existed, would some try to treat us as pets? Alternative version: would people shrunk down to 1/8th size be potentially treated as pets?

I'm starting to feel this haze, almost fog of self suppression. And nothing feels good about it.
Like I need to do something for myself and not just have a little food treat. Something creative before I feel like I simply can't.

For some reason, the setting sun sometimes causes my door camera to think it saw someone. I'll get a notifications saying "person detected" and it's just a ball of fire, like it thinks Midra has come to visit.

I'm working through Visions of Mana and genuinely enjoying the experience. But I'm up to "let's fight these Benevedons" and I feel like I'm witnessing missing patches in the story that wanted to be there, masked with storytelling that hand waves some.

The obvious struggle is time (extended work shifts), but I also want to see people I don't see often? And connect with those people directly? I don't even know who gets my notifs when I go live on Twitch. Lol

I've wanted to stream recently. But I'll admit I've stopped short because I want to support other streams, especially friends.

I also want to make videos, just kinda laying my thoughts out, instead of streaming it.

I just need to put my foot down and do me at some point, huh?

Despite all the scuff prior, the last 5-10 hours of Pokémon Scarlet/Violet's storyline is actually really good.

Also, been doing Duolingo for 137 days straight for Japanese, hiragana is starting to become familiar? I can spot more characters, and sometimes words, because of it.
Maybe I *can* learn a programming language.

I had a "make a story about [one dinensional]" concept dive last night, and my brain responded at work later with "man, magic would create a whole new tier of have/have-not if it showed up now"
Can't tell if good or bad idea for story.

6 out of 47 games beaten on my backlog. It sounds small, but it feels really good to have each new experience etched into me. I always take something meaningful away.

I may not be playing Guilty Gear Strive, but the OST is always on a playlist. Carpe Diem working the leitmotifs in just *sends me to another plane*
