I think bad game mechanics aren't "unfun" things as much as things that don't fit with the game design. For example, having different options of going through a level may seem like good design, but it can be bad if all the key story telling moments are only on one path. It depends on context.

She has actively promoted many grown men that ended up hurting a lot of people too. She needs to take accountability for using her fame to promote transphobic men who caused harm. If a lot of my friends I promoted turned out to be terrible people, I would be more careful who I choose to promote.

The Inheritrance Games. I found it incredibly, painfully obvious and thought that none of the characters acted like real, living human beings. It took me out of it.

This is how I felt when I read a popular BookTok book. It was incredibly mediocre, but there were a lot of people I saw that loved it. Different strokes for different folks.

Signalis is an amazing game. Some have criticised it for being deeply referential, but it is in large part about memory and the we use our fragmented recollections of the world to make sense of what we percieve.

The references are so very important to what it's saying as an artwork. And it IS art.
