We‘ve lost one of the quirky characters of Silverlake. If you live here, you‘ve probably seen Rik Martino feeding his pigeons or railing against the animal society. He lived in a makeshift shelter he’d built for himself at Madison & Santa Monica. He passed away Saturday.

It’s crazy to think how unaffected they’ve all been with this year’s … activities. And now, the mayor might ruin their lives. The mayor!

The city budget is enormously skewed toward funding police activities & among their explicitly desired activities is the wish to use our own $ to beat us up. When people talk about defunding the police, this is the kinda thing they’re often actually talking about.

Oh thank heavens! I really don’t think there should be anything other than league and national games. Champions Cup is not worth the risk AT ALL.
