Heidi, the brown dog, steps out of a wire crate. she sniffs toward the camera, brows furrowed and her large eyes pointed in our direction.

Heidi stands in the sunshine with her mouth open and her tongue out in a smile. she may no longer have her eyes, but she doesn't need them to feel the happiness that's come in to her life.

This is Heidi. She was found as a stray blind, and terrified. Vets concluded she was born blind, and her condition had become extremely painful. To live a pain-free life, both of her eyes needed to be removed. You can help cover her medical bills below ❤️‍🩹
