We have a lot of youth volunteers at the cat shelter these days. The underage ones can't do some of the cleaning tasks or work with more aggressive cats so I feel like a video game NPC coming up with small tasks for them.

I'm not sure if it is because there are animations (that are view transition powered) and the author was assuming that the presence of animations mean there was a JS animation library and that made it slow, or there was genuinely something wrong. With the lack of control, I guess I'll never know 😅

I really love this post, and it's an approach I've basically taken for my entire career. It does make me wonder though, I had a post break containment recently and one of the comments I received was that I was a hypocrite about writing about the environment because my website ran really poorly
