back in hs senior year, around 2010 or early 2011, military recrooters came to my class to do some kind of presentation ("dont FORCE yourself to join but if you're truly ready for it, hmny'know, here's our number ;)") and one part that stuck out to me was when the topic turned to video games-

the democrats in power are letting this all happen because it aligns with their class interests and the wants of their wealthy owners. if they wanted to stop it they would fight it but they support ice, the police, and the military, which is why they always vote to give them more money and power.
