On social media, I use the ‘block’ feature with joy in my soul and a song on my lips.

I block trolls, intentional irritants, people who piss on others’ happiness, asses who announce unfollows, joyless misery merchants, sanctimonious scolds, and people who would otherwise make me like a place less.

If you're naked on the front porch and the neighbors can't see you, it's rural.
If you're naked and the neighbors call the cops, it's suburban.
If you're naked and the neighbors ignore you, it's urban.
If you're naked on the front porch and your neighbor is also naked, it's Florida.

You will not convince me I exist in a timeline in which I count on that man to do the right thing.
