So sad to hear about the death of David Lynch. He was one of a small number of directors that opened up a completely different world of film and TV. Blue Velvet and the Elephant Man terrified me when I was growing up. Mulholland Drive, Twin Peaks and Lost Highway continue to baffle me now.

I’m always staggered by the diversity of the literature you’ve produced, Neil. My son and I have read Fortunately the Milk and Coraline so many times but it’s hard to reconcile those works with the likes of The Sandman and American Gods.
