How about an age limit for anyone running for any office - President, Senate, Supreme Court - all of them. Other countries have mandatory retirement ages.

We have two cars (family of 5). Running costs (similar distance covered):

1. ICE - service $1,300 (needed new battery - ironic huh), petrol $2,200 pa (~$40pw).

2. EV - service $120, electricity $230 less whatever I get from solar panels.

Difference over 10 years over $30k!

Trump actions have, in effect, undermined US watchmakers. There are now millions of people who will now think Swiss watches must be superior because why else would you need to tariff them.

One other thing… not only are 3sixteen more expensive in the US but they are also now more expensive to overseas buyers. So Australians, Europeans, Canadians and everyone else will simply buy jeans from elsewhere. Tariffs are, in effect, killing any exports that rely on an imported product.

Trump's trade war probably qualifies as the greatest madness in economic policy in a developed country after WWII:
1. All decisions are made by one single person (Trump).
2. No principles are applied.
3. No economic rationale or theory.
4. All is based on Trump's emotions. /1
