My mother, in the middle. What am I holding; a candle? A wand? Taken in Charleswood, MB, back when coffee tables were laden with ashtrays and doilies. I loved my mother though she wasn't easy to love. Childhood had warped her but we survived the generational abuse, just as she had. #MothersDay
