Bring back Piper's original Vincent dress, this one is worse and looks cheaper. I'm glad they're revisiting this program, it's my favorite of theirs. Ooof that lift went wrongggg. Last lift looked labored as well. Piper definitely has the tendency to get muggy in the face, needs dialed back a bit

R/A needing to be ready to show up and show out for Chinese Nebelhorn has paid off on the GP, they're super sharp in both programs. This is such Eurotrashy fun. Pretty late in the program for twizzles. I love that last lift

I hate a Notre Dame de Paris program, whyyyyy CPom? Some of this sultriness feels like reheated Camen nachos and it was better last year. I'm bad at watching ice dance and even I can tell they're getting hosed with levels. This just did not do it for me, it's a mediocre program

LaLa on the same music as B/S and it's a much better fit, they have the chops. Wow did Zak almost wipe out there in the choreo steps? Recovered better than the error in the RD. They're so compelling, I can't take my eyes off them.

Oh boy Mrazeks feel like they're stealing C/B's bit with the skirt, though honestly this program is already more dynamic. They skate fast, the comparison is not flattering to the Americans. A little too sultry to be totally comfy for a sibling team though. She's going for high drama but it's muggy

I still like this so much less than L/Q's RD. I have strong feelings about Adagio for Strings and they just don't have the depth for it (at least not at this point).

Ah yes the Orientalism Canadian program. It's fun though, because they're selling it and the cheesiness feels winking. It may actually be the most I've ever liked them. It's also just fun to have a relatively high-energy free dance.

Nice opening lift for the Germans in this Spanish-themed program. It is a paso doble? I'm bad at telling these Spanish dance styles apart. They, especially her, are selling this reasonably well though I don't tend to find them all that compelling.

This Napoleon free is certainly a more natural fit on Leah and Artem than the RD. I like the hints of ballroom they're incorporating but I'm getting no sense of story from this program. They have nice lifts.

Free dances at #SCI25: I don't think this is a team for whom ballet-associated music is a natural fit. It's not bad, especially him, but they don't have the refinement as a team.

This program is so preposterous and that it works even the tiniest bit is a testament to charisma. It is truly insane how easy he makes this all look. His parents need to make him work on his spins, they've been pretty lackluster

Oh no fall for Kazuki! And another. Recovering well. This is a spellbinding program on him, good complement for his clubby fun short. Oh woah can't believe he almost fell out of that spin. I did actually really love this, too bad about the elements today because he's a lovely skater.

This is quite a shirt on Selevko. He really knows how to use his body for musical expression. And the jumps are mostly hitting, until the fall on the axel anyways. He's got some leg wrap going on. Ooo those hits on the boards are fun. These steps are great! Nice hydroblade. Spins solid!

Speaking of a blandly pretty program. She's skating it perfectly, but I feel like she's capable of a more connected, emotive performance. This is another one I want to see grow over the season.

Isabeau outrageously charming and expressive. Those toe jumps are terrible. But her posture and arms and extension and spins! And charisma! I usually hate these blandly pretty programs but she makes this work.

I love Lara, she's so gloriously weird. I love her little shark fin spin. Oh noooo the fall on the lutz!! She could use some polish and refinement on some of her elements but she is just like absolutely no one else.

Ami radiates such joy. Oops overrotated that 2A to start. But all the other jumps are firing. There's an almost saccharine-ness to this program that could use to be undercut, the actual skating doesn't feel junior but the program does.

This costume on Bradie is not it. There is much better Morricone music than this. She was not going to let that combo go in this program. Really strong jumping until the lutz. Overcooked the loop too. Performance better after jumps but still not great. Her spins are just amazing.

Yuna is such a gorgeously emotive skater. OH NO FALL! This is just so charming and lovely. I don't even like La La Land very much. Ooo thought she was going to save the landing of the second lutz. These steps are so delightful. I would watch her skate to anything.

Oh my those are some sleeves on Sarah. I get the reference but they are distracting and could be dialed back a bit. She seems as confused as I am by her fall. She's fighting back though. I just wish she was performing like, at all. She has expression in her body but nothing in the face.

Oooo Sarah Maude soo close to landing the 3A! Followed by another jump error, and another. Her head seems out of it now. She's a nice spinner. Recovering a bit in the second half, but the performance is not connecting. She seems to be running out of gas in the steps.

Oh no Ahsun looks like she hurt her arm on that opening fall, it looked like it hurt. Way to recover on the next jumps, everything firing much better. Her skating is very pretty. She needs more intensity as the music builds, she doesn't have a ton of expression through her face.

Maria has such Eteri girl energy, for obvious reasons, but not even the compelling Eteri girls. Jumps are sloppy. She has a great Besti squat, she should try a cantilever. WHAT is the lip-sync to the dialogue? I don't like it. Also don't like this cover of the music.

Uliana not making much impression on me here, which was about the same as her short. Jumps going well enough for the most part but no expression or connection to music.

Women's frees from #SCI25 last night: So weird to see Maddie so early. Definitely could tell that opening jump was meant to be a combo. She's making up those missed early combos later. I feel like I can see her thinking through the choreo early but clearly feeling it more later. Good fight!

The spread eagle into the 4F is so good to start this program for Ilia. And then the 3A out of like nowhere. He definitely has a preferred musical style he can get into but he connects with it really well when he does. This program is a great fit on him

This music is a great fit on Nika. Saved himself on the landing of that combo, and even more on the toeloop. Spins :( Maybe just that first spin, the second much better. This movement feels a little flail-y, he needs more sharpness.

Kevin skating to Gaga feels spiritually correct. His stretch and reach is phenomenal. And so was that opening combo. The 3A was very nice too. So pleasant to see good spins in men's. Loving the energy until that extended bit on his knees, that needs to be cut down. Do love his aerial.

Kao looks like he's gonna barf before the program even starts. Bringing lots of drama and intensity and a big opening combo. 3A really nice and great spread eagle out. So close to biting it on the solo toeloop. This program is a good fit for his energy.

Nikolaj so close to eating it at the end of that combo. Performance suffering during the jumps, I'm used to seeing him more expressive. Lacking a bit of energy in the steps but hitting the musical highlights. Looking forward to watching this program develop over the season
