#250 Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin
Mogs MHS1 in every aspect, and I love that game, this is an easy 9, it has basically everything you want from a creature-collecting JRPG; Great story, good production value, fantastic combat system. Only negative is Navirou, plz remove him for MHS3. 9/10

#249 Final Destination Bloodlines
The best FD movie, and the only one I'd consider even decent. It's at least somewhat compelling and, while not looking that good, has fun with the premise. Also has a very sweet Tony Todd moment. 6/10

Getting near the end of MHS2 and I really wish Kyle and Navirou would team up and leave the story together. Then I could take his awesome ninja felyne along instead and the game would be a whole point better

I literally just yesterday posted about how trans women and AMAB non-binary people are systematically excluded from the trans identity, how y'all treat non-binary as "woman lite", and how this happens like law in voice over, and then this drops. Jesus Christ dude.

#246 Not So Shoujo Love Story
I was really not into this for the first 30 chapters or so, but it improves massively and by the end of S2 it's really quite fantastic. Humor is very hit or miss for me, and it's quite slow, but the character development is really great.

Got my penultimate laser treatment done today, lucky I arrived early (trains...) since they had a no-show. I think I've waited for trains more than I've ridden them today. 5 hours away from home for 5 minutes of treatment lol. Also, it's too cold for a slushie but 7/11 coffee blows, so I must suffer

Finally sat down and finished it, it's pretty great! Looks amazing, and the story is pretty good, even if it's a bit generic on the character side. Ending kinda kino. idk, 9/10

Thematically consistent drama with strong messaging, some truly transcendent moments, and great performances. Perhaps overly long and the big action setpiece fails to stun, but well worth watching. 8/10

Maybe a few too many jumpscares, but I didn't mind them for some reason. THE most terrifying movie I've ever seen, I was hiding behind my GF begging the movie to end for the last 20 minutes. 10/10. Deeply unpleasant. I can't stop thinking about it.

Absolute masterpiece, the greatest low-budget indie horror ever? Immaculately planned out script, just go in with as little knowledge as possible, it will be worth it. 10/10

Ultimately fails to deliver on criticising america in any truly meaningful way, and I really dislike the medium character, but the VFX and other performances are really amazing. It feels like a 10/10 was held back. 8/10, the lanky dragon demon is my fave vfx maybe ever?

#239 The Exorcist - Extended Directors Cut
Immaculate slow-burn horror, the build up to the exorcism scenes is exquisite, the VFX are amazing and hold up almost perfectly. 10/10. However, don't forget how they mistreated Linda Blair while filming this, no movie is worth that.

Seemed promising, but as usual they fumble by having the dumbest writing decisions possible near the end. Overly convoluted while not being clever, and thematically it misses so many chances to say something. Bad film, 3/10, still probably the best Saw since 1

Actually good harem yuri? "Unless..." if it was good, the main character is much easier to tolerate. Nice to see actual freak behaviour as well. My ship kinda sunk, so that sucks, but it's still good.
