Travel and tourism is almost 10% of our economy. All the chaos cannot be good for that, and the steep drop-off of Canadians into the US will likely continue.
And how many Europeans are going to want to come here this summer (or ever), between our frequent insults, and the risk of being arrested or

Twin Cities tow truck driver returns abandoned vehicles to families after ICE arrests Juan Leon sends a "chase" car to check out where abandoned vehicles are located and arranges discreet drop-offs. Since late December, he estimated they have dropped off 250 cars.

ICE has grabbed so many people from their vehicles that there are abandoned cars across Minnesota.

This tow truck driver returns the cars for free as a public service, and he’s been getting death threats.

They hate the helpers.

Which is why must keep helping.

Leslie Wexner is one of the 10 co-conspirators named by the FBI during the 2019 arrest of Epstein.

He gave Epstein millions of dollars and the $70 million NYC townhouse.

Leon Black gave Epstein over $170 million.

Both men are alive.

How come they've never been asked to testify?

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵

I arrived here for an immigration appointment and I don’t think they should grab immigrants who are innocent, like instead of grabbing criminals because I mean they prefer to lock up children than look for people who really shouldn’t be in the U.S. They told me I could only be here 21 days but I have already spent more than 60 days waking up eating the same repetitive meals, going outside and that the majority of guards never pay attention to people, eating dinner  always the same as the day before, seeing people cry every day for the same reasons, trying to sleep in that horrible uncomfortable bed, going to the doctor and that the only thing they tell you is to drink more water and the worst thing is that it seems like the water is what makes people sick here…”

MoJ orders deletion of UK’s largest court reporting archive Courtsdesk, which supports the media in monitoring records, is an important tool for journalists and the move raises concerns over open justice

The Ministry of Justice has ordered the deletion of the UK’s largest court reporting archive.

This risks undermining open justice, and I believe, undermines the public accountability role of the press by making it harder to see what is going on in the courts.

Only 26% of voters intend to vote Reform. Yet, that would be enough for them to be elected to government. 74% of people's wishes would count for nothing because of our ridiculous voting system, but a move to proportional representation is not included in The Elections Bill.

As such, I must resort to drastic measures.

Federal judge rules DOJ can ‘no longer’ be trusted in voter roll crusade The judge pointed to a letter from Bondi to Minnesota that tied federal immigration enforcement to demands for voter data as the smoking gun.

A federal judge in Oregon issued a sweeping rebuke of the Justice Department’s nationwide push to seize state voter rolls, ruling that the department can no longer be presumed to be acting in good faith and warning that its conduct threatens voters and states’ rights.

Today’s energy schedule for my part of Kyiv 3.5 hours of power out of 24. This is the worst it has been since the start of the full scale invasion. Putin has used Trump’s “peace process” as cover to increase his attacks. Civilian deaths and energy attacks notably up under Trump.

The Guardian has a rough outline of what the Tulsi whistleblower complaint is about: NSA found someone close to Trump in contact with foreign intelligence, and rather than doing something about that, Tulsi brought the report to Susie Wiles.
