Just finished a testing session on Overwatch. Had to preheat, which I've never done before (five minutes to let my drivers sort themselves), but once that was done, I experienced the smoothest gameplay I've ever had.

I don't think I'm going back.

Well, as if Windows wasn't shit enough, their most recent update royally fucked my performance up, and they won't let me undo the update.

Looks like it's the year of the penguin.

You know, I think I might actually miss Mischief & Magic in Overwatch. It was definitely flawed, but the mode helped me see the appeal of prop hunt games, and I did have fun playing it.

Finally got some snowfall, so I went out at 6AM and took photographs... at -7°C.

My attire did not help with the cold. And the neighbours were probably freaked out by it, too.

At the risk of asking a dumb question, how easy is it to replace a drive band? Is it the kind of thing a hobbyist could learn at reasonable risk or would it be better if I took it to a repair shop?

Well, I have somehow gotten my mother interested in Alkaline Trio. Just the old stuff, though. She's not much a fan of Crimson or the newer works.
