could be like that one year school was stupid easy for me when i was younger so i sunk about 3k hours into elite in one year lol (i'm currently sitting at 22k hours logged lol)

either way, that number is shrinking with each year of W10-EOL approaching so that argument is again... the worst argument i've seen, if they worked in a larger setting (open source group project, company, etc) they'd lose their position insanely quickly with that response lol

"the vast users of linux users are programmers" is the best worst excuse i've seen yet. user statistics don't even EXIST because it doesn't track you, most surveys show roughly 25-40% of users program with it but surveys can be bias so it's not an actual statistic.

exactly, a lot of higher tier linux power users expect people to know how to understand documentation without even knowing jack shit because some people can understand by looking at source code but most people are not like that. that's why i tend to lean on the fedora fence... people are chiller XD

my nintendo controller had drift right out of the box and the deadzone was absolutely massive... i just ended up buying another xbox controller and it's lasted me ~1 year so far lol, i miss my old 360 controller lmfao

i'd recommend corsair and their budget models if you need to get up and running quickly and reliably. there is also a google doc that is out there that goes in depth on a ton of PSU models and their overall rating, i'd give it a look sometime, it's insanely helpful!

gigabyte GPU's fail all the time... probably some of the worst PSU's on the market, bought one for my rig for it to go up in smoke within about an hour of doing light load stuff only (only about 50 to 100 watt loads with 300w transient).

mannn i miss my aunts old KD-30XS955, thing was absolutely golden and the picture quality was one of the best color quality displays i've ever used XD

if i do go through with it i'd open up some beta testing of it to see if it's something i financially afford (given i cannot force people to donate). if you'd like to try it out, feel free to DM as i'm going to beta test with about 15 members in the coming weeks (already have some slots filled).

given the stuff with discord going on i'm more than likely going to make my own little matrix server... should be enough for thousands of people to join though i need to initially test some stuff on my end.

it's "possible" via some 3rd party stuff or home made scripting... i wish in game there was some better plotting overall for making a custom route and or just long distance (+1kLY), especially for the caspian being in game now.

why a used good metallica CD almost costs as much as brand new 3rd party vinyl is painful... i bought the vinyl version of the black album and the mastering speed is off by 1/8th of an RPM so i really don't wanna tempt fate again lmao
