Look, I don't know who needs to hear this.

But.

You matter, you are loved, you are valid.

(now if I could only allow myself to hear that, that'd be great. Damn seasonal depression.)

Bats, one's personality is enough to see past looks.

And you have a wonderful personality, and are the kindest person I've ever met.

No shaming yourself, if it is any consolation... You look better than me.

We are in a world where negativity rules, and positivity goes unnoticed.

We don't have to live this way, however. And frankly, I am very much a pessimistic person. However, I am tired of living from crisis to crisis.

So I am challenging myself to find something positive, and hold it close.

Just finished watching the movie, Truth and Treason. It was uncomfortable because of the similarities of what's going on in America, and what was going on in Nazi Germany.

Highly recommend the movie.

I'd love that, especially the making fun of you locating states. LOL.

If it isn't worrying about my benefits, it's me worrying that I'll be demonized for being who I am. I have felt forced to be outward presenting male, because being transgender seems to be, at least recently, the Right's favorite scapegoat. I am just human, I just ask for basic respect.

I wish that being an American made me feel good, but in this current political climate I feel neither proud or safe.

As a transwoman, and someone living on disability due to mental health issues, I wake up every morning wondering if today is the last day I get my benefits.
