Go get your flu shots this year folks. It’s a rough one. It’s going through my family. I was the only one with a flu shot and I got it relatively mild compared to the others.

I'm glad we got out when we did. You could see this all coming, yet, I also know it is going to get much worse before it gets better. This isn't the normal political "pendulum" swinging; it's much darker.

Just right-click on the status bar at the bottom of a work document and then click on "Character Count (with spaces)". You can add some other nice features to bhe status bar as well.

I just learned that you can add the character count w/spaces to the bottom status bar in MS Word!!!! No more highlighting and clicking around to find the value every time you change a couple of words to get under that 1,000 character count w/spaces!!!!

We are getting the Delaware cleaned up, could try to get them to launch you into Frankford Creek instead? Another body in there wouldn’t make much of a difference. 😀

At TAMUCC I had no vacation days on the books, but I could just take off a day or 2 if I wanted so long as I had classes covered. We were 9 months so summers we free.

I heard a guy on NPR (some consultant) say that being loud wasn't effective. That guy is a moron. You are absolutely correct. We need loud voices to suck the oxygen out of the room, to fight for right and the rule of law.

The anticipation ended last night. Just when we were thinking we were in the clear, 2 days after kids 2 was better, kid one puked A LOT in the car on the way back from picking up MIL from the airport.

One of my favorite things about this time of year is the anticipation… of waiting to see how many in our house will catch the stomach virus kid 2 brought home.

Saw one that was for a painting company and all I could think was they must over charge their customers if they can afford one of those as a work truck.
