January 6th itself isn't really seen as anything by a majority of the country because Merrick Garland treated it as nothing. Nothing legitimizes criminality and lies more than a lack of accountability.

The thing I can't figure out about Democrat leaders, is how is it humanly possible that every single one of them missed school the day they went over the failures of appeasement throughout history. It seems like it would be impossible yet here we are.

I loathe non voters but voting isn't a remedy for criminality, you either have laws or you don't. I think of all those politicians scurrying for pardons after 1/6. They knew they were guilty and Garland didn't even investigate them.

All of this is upsetting but the most upsetting thing is it was allowed to happen by our legal system putting protection of the wealthy above justice for the victims.

At least America has given them thousands of examples of how not to handle them.

People underestimate the impact the Kardashianization of America has had. Look at most of the people the GOP elects. They are oddities more than politicians. They are the definition of famous for being famous. Trump is a reality show buffoon himself.

I used to always joke that I hoped Trump committed a crime in a country with a functioning justice system because he would never get held accountable here. That seems to apply to all wealthy pedophiles as well

I am squarely behind blaming people that don't vote. Even if you think both choices are bad you have to ask "who can I most likely change if they take office, or who will do the least harm" Throwing away your voice is nothing more than childish tantrums.

The legal system itself is a failure. We got here because of the refusal to hold the wealthy & powerful to the same standard of the law that ordinary citizens are held to. To suggest otherwise is addressing the symptoms while ignoring the underlying cause.

You are only guaranteed the justice you can afford in America. That is why you never see a wealthy person being wrongly convicted, only to be exonerated decades later. That only happens to the poor. The wealthy pedophiles could afford the justice that the poor victims couldn't. It's not complicated.
