Bless the bike shop worker yesterday where I rented a bike while my dad drove me crazy, trying to micromanage the situation. As I get seat adjusted, she looks at me, asks, “are you ok?” It’s a lot, I laugh. She doesn’t laugh back but maintains eye contact, whispers “my parents are in town too”
