I am curious about this graph. Was this one one person hired to come in "save Vt Digger" or what? It is such a marked one year increase there has to have been some sort of explanation or justification. The optics are bad when compared to the treatment staff is getting.

I support journalists getting better pay. And in the past I've been a VT Digger monthly supporter because I value the reporting. But I've stopped if they aren't paying their reporters. But when I've asked the Guild questions I've gotten zero answers - here or on reddit
