To clarify, I didn’t like the Remake’s version of that sequence because I kind of saw Andrea as a ridiculous homophobic stereotype

Tbh I thought the remake made the honey bee inn scene more offensive, but I haven’t seen many people share my opinion so I don’t talk about it. I like both games but am an OG preferer. And that’s not really the reason I am critical of remake.

I get where you’re coming from, and to some extent, I agree, but DF very much does say that the best path is to destroy alien civilizations immediately upon discovering them while remaining as silent as possible. I just made the scale smaller to demonstrate my point.

I don’t feel chaotic anymore. I apologize if I upset anyone. I still think the dark forest is a stupid hypothesis but I don’t want to fight about it. Everyone is entitled to like whatever books they like, but I think it’s important to be careful before applying ideas from fiction to real life.

By the logic presented by the DF Hypothesis, since I can never truly know what other people are thinking, the best course of action would be to carry a weapon and just kill anyone I come across just in case they want to hurt me. Applying this to a galactic scale doesn’t make it any less ridiculous.
