Thanks to the treaty, for the first time in history nuclear weapons are illegal and there is a plan to eliminate them. #5yearsTPNW 🥳

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. believed a full-scale nuclear war would be utterly catastrophic. We agree.

Up to 50 attendees gathered to explore current nuclear justice practices and brainstorm ways to move them forward during 2025 #NuclearBanWeek and beyond. We shared updates on community-led events happening throughout the week and sparked some great conversations.

On Monday, March 3, 2025, Day 1 of the #TPNW3MSP began with the traditional International Youth Orientation. This event featured a youth panel that included @yerdaulet.bsky.social, Co-Founder of the #QNFC, who participated as an ally of the nuclear frontline and affected communities.

Last week, I moderated a working meeting to discuss the socio-economic development of the territories close to the former Semipalatinsk nuclear test site (SNTS) and to ensure the rights of citizens affected by nuclear tests.The working meeting was organized by Friedrich Ebert Foundation Kazakhstan.
