Azule - but make it crunchier. There is a lot going on, and many ways to set yourself up to win, or lose. It's a fun one for when you want a strategic game, but definitely not the casual play the original Azule is.

Green Card meta won a game for me .. and then won a game for the husband. :) Apparently green cards is where it's at!

2 of 2: The only "take that" is on the battle board, however, that's only 1 of the 3 possible win conditions, so you don't have to focus there. You can focus on alliances, or movement on the track as well. There's a lot of juggling personal objectives to meet a "win" before they do.

1 of 2: I wouldn't call it a "mean" competitive game - there's very few "gotcha" mechanics that will turn the tide. It's mostly paying attention to what the other player is doing so you can make your best choices, while blocking their best choices. It's more strategy than "take that".

Lord of the Rings Duel finally hit the table last night - this is a fun, twisty little game. With three different win conditions, you need to pay attention to what your opponent is up to or they will sneak their way into a win when you're not looking.

Nebula is a cute little pattern matching game with a space theme. Would be a great game to introduce to folks who don't play a lot of boardgames.

It's a table hog, but a fun, crunchy, and very pretty game. With so many moving bits and pieces, im pretty sure we didn't score it entirely correct on this first playthrough. But I only lost by one point so I'll call it good ;)

Turns out it wasn't even a ban - this was 100% voluntary on Tik-Tok's part. Based on how they made the announcement of it's removal, and subsequent reinstatement, it looks like this was just a political stunt to give our incoming Felon-in-Chief the appearance of an early "win".
